About the Club

The Notre Dame Club of Naples is open to all alumni, family, friends and enthusiasts of the University of Notre Dame. We are a dynamic group that gathers often to keep alive the spirit of Notre Dame of Naples and the surrounding areas. Our activities promote the Six C's of Notre Dame's Alumni Association:

We are always eager to welcome new members into the Club. Please consider joining! Make sure that you are registered and your information is up to date on Irish On-line to receive club e-mails.

Mission
With great appreciation for the University's emphasis on community in all its endeavors, the
Alumni Association’s division of Alumni Clubs serves to advance the mission of the University through the development and support of Notre Dame alumni clubs around the world and through support of Notre Dame students and student programming.

The Notre Dame clubs serve as a nexus between alumni and the University. We work to sustain affable and productive relationships with alumni, and we gain thousands of ambassadors for the University. We encourage meaningful participation in all Alumni Association programs for the enrichment of alumni and the communities in which they live and for the greater success of the Alumni Association.

We strive to expose students to the mission of the Alumni Association and the University and inspire in them a sense of solidarity through friendship and through our support of student programming. By giving students and opportunity to work in community and to lead, and by rewarding their efforts, we contribute to their personal growth and success and that of the Alumni Association.

Purpose
Notre Dame Alumni clubs exist for alumni to stay connected to the University and for alumni to continue to strengthen their ties to Notre Dame. The Notre Dame Club of Naples exists:

  • To initiate and encourage activities which promise to further the welfare and best interests of Notre Dame and contribute to the individual alumnus or alumna as a person
  • To influence outstanding young men and women to select Notre Dame for an undergraduate education
  • To offer programs of common alumni interest such as seminars or other selected programs which stimulate thought on issues of the day
  • To foster a continuing relationship with undergraduates so that some day they will play an active role as alumni
  • To establish where possible a club scholarship fund to support young men and women at Notre Dame and strengthen the University scholarship program
  • To serve when possible the local community as a positive influence that can be counted upon for helpful and constructive effort
  • To enlighten alumni as to the nature and scope of the Notre Dame experience in matters of religious, social, educational and humanistic issues and thus to help to develop an alumni body which is informed and effective in furthering the purposes of Notre Dame
  • To act as “centers of influence” in the community, generating particularly among non-alumni interest in the University and assisting, if asked, in translating such interest into a program of financial support.
