Dear Friends of the Notre Dame Club of Greater Naples, Every year the Financial Aid Department at the University reviews our local students’ requests for monetary assistance and informs our club of the amount to which each student is eligible for from the Club Scholarship Fund. Last year our local students qualified for $70,000 in Club Scholarship Funds. Sadly, though, we only had $14,000 to divide between them.
Therefore, this year, we are asking that everyone find a way to contribute to our fundraising efforts by writing a check, asking your favorite restaurant to donate a gift certificate, approaching your pro-shop or golf club for a raffle item, finding an individual or a company to purchase one of the many sponsorship opportunities (on back of invitation), mentioning the tournament to as many golfers as you can and/or giving of your time to make this event as successful as possible. We understand that, economically speaking, times are tough, but your individual efforts could truly help close the funding gap for our local students.
For more information, please contact Mark Stout, our Golf Committee Co-Chair: (239) 821-3258 (cell) or markstoutcpa@hotmail.com (e-mail).
As always, we thank you for your continued support and involvement! Sincerely, The Notre Dame Club of Greater Naples
